Watching too much television as a kid was the best thing that could have happened! Since watching The Muppet Show as a kid, I've been OBSESSED by television. And that's why I love writing it.My comedy and dramedy scriptwriting focuses on strong female characters who are a little weird and a little damaged, going up against bizarre, nonsensical power systems. Probably something to do with having survived a cult when I was a teen.Though I've already written 23 broadcast scripts for the BBC and many development scripts, I've got some fun stuff cooking now including:-A comedy pilot optioned by Olivia Colman and Ed Sinclair. Olivia's attached to the project alongside directing legend Tristram Shapeero;-Two options with award-winning Channel X;-An ongoing working relationship in development as script editor, script doctor, pitcher, and attached showrunner;-Five new projects in development including a dramedy with Marvel stuntwoman and Director/Writer Jadey Duffield, a short with Video Lead Elle UK and Harper's Bazaar Director Elenora Cristin, and a road trip comedy featuring an Autistic mother/son duo;-A book on networking for introverts, and a part-time lecturing position for which I won Outstanding Lecturer for the School of Arts at Bolton University 2021 at the Students' Choice Awards;-A book about how my appearance on PBS/Nat Geo's "Genius by Stephen Hawking" revolutionised my life.-I'm proudly Autistic and also serve as consultant on disability issues.Intriguing and innovative projects run by people who believe in being brave and taking risks are highly attractive.
