I love to edit. To craft people’s stories in film and television is a privilege and I take pride in trying to extract the best out of those stories and make them into something special. Over the years I have developed a strong work ethic as an offline editor. Caring about the stories I cut balanced with having an eye for detail, being versatile in my approach and able to meet deadlines are part of my core principles. I consider music to be an incredibly important part of the editorial process, something that is not always easy to get right, and I regard myself for having a good ear for what is suitable tonally. I have been involved in many factual and observational documentaries with a variety subject matters, ranging from the migrant crisis in 2015 to the lives of the animals at Chester zoo and I have had the pleasure of working alongside some of the most talented and hardworking people in the industry.
