The subject matters for which range from current affairs to observational documentaries and have included figures such as Danny Boyle, Banksy, Ed Sheeran and Stephen Hawking. His most recent work is the upcoming "D-Day: The Unheard Tapes" for BBC1 with Wall to Wall and "Me and The Voice Inside My Head" for Channel 4/ Hungry Bear.
He is a full member of the British Film Editors association and is a full member of BAFTA
Garry is also a multi award-winning writer and director whose work is a blend of dark humour and melancholy. He is fascinated by themes of parenthood, childhood, grief, betrayal and trauma.
His short films “Down”, “Bertie” (BAFTA SHORT FILM LONGLIST 2019), “The Fox and the Rabbit” and “Bobby” have been selected for and won awards at numerous Academy Award and BAFTA qualifying international film festivals. He has had the pleasure of working with Alison Steadman, Amanda Donohoe, Arthur Darvill, Jemima Rooper and Paul Barber, amongst others. He is a member of Directors UK.
Garry used to be a TV actor and to his great pride and joy was regularly cast as a hospital patient in leading UK dramas such as “Children’s Ward” and “Peak Practice”.
