Award-winning Producer/Director with 20 years of experience in factual programming, observational documentaries, drama docs and natural history films. I began my career writing and producing eleven episodes of EMMY nominated ‘Meerkat Manor’. The series aired in over 160 countries and claimed several awards, including “Best Popular Broadcast Programme” at the WILDSCREEN festival. In 2008 my first efforts in directing were rewarded with a nomination at the 'Jackson Hole Film Festival' under “Best People and Wildlife” for the quirky and emotive conservation film, "There's a Rhino in my House". In the same year, Broadcast Magazine listed me among their “Hotshot Directors”. Recent work includes the BAFTA nominated series, 'Great Barrier Reef with David Attenborough' for BBC1 (3 x 60'), which I wrote and produced (Ep1 & 2) "What can you say? It was educational, entertaining, fascinating and the first of three parts. By the end, you will have seen miracles. It will be something to tell your children and your children’s children about". The Guardian. The series has won several awards and was ranked amongst the 30 highest rating factual programmes on UK TV in 2015.
