A BBC-Trained Producer / Director / Cameraman with over fifteen years experience shooting Obs-Doc and Fact-Ent. material for major broadcasters in the UK and North America. My work experience is vast and covers sensitive access, government agencies, and challenging workplace environments all over the globe.I am experienced in managing and directing multi-unit camera crews, including synch units, DOP, drones and minicams. I regularly Edit Produce and can wrangle any material into engaging content, on time and in budget. As well as directing /shooting flexible material to suit each commission’s brief, my recent work as Location Series Producer required me to formulate series-wide story arcs across 21 episodes of hugely popular TV whilst running location teams of up to twenty-five people in hazardous workplace environments.The majority of my shooting experience comes from working on ‘embedded’ location shoots as a lone operator or in small PD teams, often filming first-time contributors doing difficult jobs in challenging situations. Whatever the workplace, I’m passionate about using sensitive direction to draw out each contributor’s character within a visually compelling story.
