I am a confident, creative and instinctive self-shooting Producer/Director with over 16 years broadcast television experience. I have a background in character-based obs-docs, access based ob-docs and fact-ent formats. I have my own full Sony FX6 kit complete with prime lenses, radio mics and panel lights, plus second Sony camera and a DJI ronin pro gimbal. I am happy self-shooting on a range of different cameras and I'm equally happy directing crew, presenters and contributors on location or in a gallery setting. I have sharp editorial judgement and I am passionate about finding and producing exciting and engaging stories. I am great at spotting stories on the ground, thinking on my feet and confident to roll with the action as it unfolds. I’m excellent with contributors; quickly striking up a rapport and making them feel at ease to be able to capture honest, intimate and emotive content. I'm highly motivated, organised and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. I absolutely love sport and especially football! I used to play semi-pro football (and back in the day played for Aston Villa Ladies FC). I switched shooting on the pitch for shooting on cameras!
