I am a DV Director and trainee P/D who shoots on an FX6, FS7 and FX9. I have recently finished a five month "Step Up To P/D" traineeship at Studio Ramsay, working on a premium HETV series for Apple TV.

Previously, I worked as a Shooting AP on current affairs documentaries for ITV and The Economist. I have also worked in development for BBC Studios, successfully writing treatments and pitching ideas that have been commissioned. I have seen projects through from development into production and into the edit. My responsibilites have included directing on location, casting contributors, negotiating access to multinational corporations, fact-checking scripts, sourcing archive for edits and everything else that is required!

I'm based in London and available now for freelance work. My specialism is in observational documentary and current affairs. I have worked at ITV, The Economist, Sky News, Channel 4 News and the BBC's Doc Unit and I've also completed relevant courses in media law with the NCTJ. Read Less
