I have a rich background in media, I have worked as a journalist for several papers, TV networks and websites since the early stage of my career. I graduated in Humanities and I started working soon after for a local TV network newsroom. After I qualified with a Master in multimedia and online journalism, I moved to Rome to work as a multimedia content manager and author for Rai, the Italian National TV network moving from one role to another in web and TV productions. During a break in between contracts with Rai, I worked as an editor in chief for an international web marketing company called Nozzeclick, for about a year. At Nozzeclick I researched news, coordinated freelancers, researched, edited and approved pictures for the website. I updated the website weekly with fresh articles and pictures, editing them when it was necessary, writing a blog and answering to the readers questions. In 2009 I qualified in Italy as a professional journalist equivalent to the English National Qualification in Journalism (NQJ) and I worked for Rainews as a journalist and producer of my own documentaries. Since then I developed a great interest in video editing so I started editing my own reports. In 2012 I decided to move to Manchester to deepen my knowledge in this field and I gained a Diploma in Creative Media. During the last few years I have been volunteering and working as a video-maker for local news websites and I also qualified with the NCTJ two years ago. Even though most of my career has not been based in England, since I moved in the UK, I have been studying and volunteering with British companies receiving great feedback on my job and I feel I have been always working in the same field, just in different countries. I am now looking for an opportunity to work with a company where I can use my experience and skills.
