I strive to make beautifully crafted, cinematic and thought-provoking documentaries, drama-docs and branded content. Each project is an adventure which I approach with creativity, an easy going nature, and integrity. 

I've worked with A-listers such as Elton John, Dua Lipa and Little Simz, through to Auschwitz survivors and other victims of trauma, to deliver high concept and big budget projects for multiple stakeholders including streamers, broadcasters and luxury brands. 

Fully trained and experienced in lighting camera before becoming a director, I've over 20 years of creative and technical experience, winning a Grierson award for Best Single Documentary and a BAFTA nomination for Best Specialist Factual. Now a Grierson trustee, I'm committed to standards of excellence in the industry and helping support new talent.

While many of my projects are self shot with my own kit, I have long-standing collaborative relationships with some of the best DoPs, as well as editors and composers. I've worked all over the world, sometimes in extreme conditions and with sensitive contributors, managing risk and duty of care.
