I'm a happy member of any team, and love using my graphic design and editing background to secure commissions by making treatments and tapes look snazzy. My colleagues always get me to proof-read their work due to my pedantic attention to detail!
I enjoy dipping in and out of production, especially on shows I've developed, but my main passion is Development. Throughout my 6 years in development, I’ve worked with linear channels and SVODs across a wide range of genres: fact-ent formats, travelogues, popular factual, dating shows, social experiments, reality, gameshows, true crime, docs (investigative, access (police + medical)), comedy ents, studio competitions, kids shows and everything in-between. I started my TV career working as a production runner in Entertainment and Factual Entertainment, spending 18 months both in studio and on location.
I'm confident that I can apply the "PhD in a day" development skill to any new topic, and after a day's research I will no doubt be spouting endless facts at dinner parties about that niche topic. (Ask me about beekeeping and you'll see!)
I graduated from Bournemouth University with First Class Honours in BA (Hons) Television Production. I have a full clean UK Driving Licence and have been entrusted with driving hire cars and MPVs across the country (and abroad) for shoots.
I'm proficient in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Powerpoint and currently learning InDesign and Illustrator. I have a full Work From Home setup, and I have completed the Screen Skills "Coronavirus basic awareness on production" training.
