I have a strong track record of producing first series and am used to overseeing large teams, tight schedules and working with high-profile talent. I enjoy every step of the production process - from pre-production to the shoot to the edit. I thrive on troubleshooting (calmly) and pride myself on comments I’ve received from team members who've mentioned my ‘unflappable’ ‘calm’ and ‘kind’ personality traits. TV is a tough enough industry without adding more stress to a team, and I truly believe in creating a positive culture where every member of the team feels supported, encouraged and empowered to create the best content possible.
I am currently working for Fox Entertainment in the US co-execing Next Level Chef for the third series in a row - working closely with Network executives. I also co-exec'd Kitchen Nightmares (after a 10 year hiatus) and prior to that, Crime Scene Kitchen. For British TV, I SP-d 'Dating with My Mates' for BBC Studios/ UKTV; Kings of the Wood (now 'Woodland Workshop') for Discovery; Teen First Dates for E4 and C4's How to Lose Weight Well as well as many other Senior Producing roles.
A few years ago, I lived in New York, working on big ents shows such as the X Factor and America's Got Talent, and prior to that, I was in Australia for 3 years, working on multiple series of 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here' and 'Big Brother'. Upon returning to the UK in 2015, I began working on various projects with UNICEF and was the Talent Producer on C4's first series of the Great British Bake Off.
I am a skilled and creative producer with sharp editorial judgement, a ‘can-do’ attitude and a love of story-telling. I am highly organised and exceptionally hard-working, with an easy-going nature that lends itself to working well with talent and getting the very best out of contributors and a team.
