I began my career in the media back in 2006 at a video production company where I was a researcher for a new media TV show and a producer for a couple of documentaries commissioned by Romanian National Television. I later worked as an assistant to the producer for 42 Km Film, the company belonging to Corneliu Porumboiu, one of the most prominent voices of the Romanian New Wave Cinema, referred to by the BFI as one of the ’10 essential Romanian directors’. I relocated to London in 2014, where I’ve been living ever since, pursuing my dream of becoming an English language writer and film producer. I’ve been involved as a production manager on the short film 'The Seat' produced by Fortress of Dinglitude & Topscreen TV, and as an associate producer on 'Forgotten Song' (short documentary) and 'The Crossing' (feature documentary), produced by OTC Films. I am currently producing two short films, and working on two feature length screenplays, one of which received the runner-up award for Best Script at Manaki Brothers screenwriting workshop, Macedonia, and is currently in development with director Valerio Filardo, to be filmed in Italy.
