I was lucky enough to be teamed up with Marc on two separate true crime series and am definitely hoping there’ll be further chances. Marc is a complete pro; as a PD or SP, you couldn’t ask for more. Super hard working and diligent, he made my job a thousand times easier every step of the way. During the research and script writing stages, Marc had stories fully in hand and every fact ready to go. He communicated with contributors brilliantly, set up shoots meticulously, and was a pleasure to shoot with in the US. He’d be a major asset to any production - I’d work with him again in a heartbeat.

Gareth Sacala

Every production I work on, when the team are hiring a shoot AP, I say have you booked Marc yet? He would be my first choice every time. Experienced, diligent, hard-working, efficient, equally great with contributors and all the admin involved...If Marc is there you know you don't need to worry about anything.

Angelique Arnold

I have had the pleasure of working with Marc on numerous series and he has proven time and time again that he is an indispensable team member who always delivers. Whether dealing with difficult access, late night calls to contributors, managing location shoots or constructing clear narratives for complex stories, Marc always goes the extra mile and excels every time. On top of all that he's a great person to have around and much-loved and respected by his peers. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Tom Lindley

Marc is one of the most dedicated, hardworking and innovative AP’s I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We worked on a sensitive, international access series together throughout the pandemic, conducting interviews remotely – so it had its additional challenges! He is brilliant at access and logistics, and incredibly good with contributors. There’s no one else I’d rather work with!

Lucie Richards

Marc is a brilliant and very experienced Assistant Producer. He joined the project late in the day but got stuck in immediately and instantly made a huge difference. Access was difficult but Marc quickly identified new potential contributors and subject areas: he got stuck into the books and is not afraid to phone bash. Extremely organised, he sorted out locations and logistics for all the filming, was great with contributors and provided me with meticulous research notes. On top of all that he is a skilled archivist and played a key role in saving money on the budget by seeking out cheaper archive to replace footage in the cut. He also created a detailed archive breakdown and costing for the production management team. He is very hard working and all in all made my life a lot easier, I would jump at the opportunity of working with him again in the future.

Rebecca Whyte - Producer/Director - Elizabeth & Philip: Love and Duty, BBC1

Rebecca Whyte

Marc is a brilliant AP with a fantastic set of skills - as good at casting and convincing sometimes cautious contributors to take part in a project as he is at sourcing great stories, finding and clearing archive, He's a real joy to work with - a proper team player who goes above and beyond the call of duty to do the very best he can.

Marc Barrett is a brilliant and talented specialist Senior Researcher. He has worked at Twofour Digital& Twofour Arabia over the past few years and his work is always detailed, accurate and he is a great team player. I would happily recommend Marc and please feel free to contact me if you would like more detail.

Fiona Ridgers, Director of Production ONETWOFOUR

I always hand Marc a large workload and a lot of responsibility. He has never failed to embrace it. Often left to his own devices, he works hard and diligently. The Born To Kill? series requires a delicate, grown up, diplomatic approach with contributors - Marc is extremely good at this, and has secured and managed contributors that might ordinarily say no. This series, he was handed additional responsibility for one of the episodes which included not only the setting up of the episode but also working on location as right hand man to the director, and conducting the interviews. He didn't let me down. He''s a good egg, and wouldn't hesitate to re-employ him.

Neil Edwards - Senior Executive Producer - Twofour
