I’m an AP/Filmmaker who has self-shot for broadcast, with vast experience across science broadcasting as well as sensitive documentary, investigative and entertainment television.
I have rigorous journalistic, analytical & interviewing skills and love an adventure.
I have set up numerous complex shoots internationally, worked on graphics and archive heavy programmes and cast contributors from vulnerable young people with disabilities to Nobel winning physicists.
I also have extensive experience data wrangling and handling contributors on location. I received a first-class degree in Physics and Philosophy, and alongside my work as AP I direct observational documentaries & fiction films.
My last film, “Our Fathers”, told the story of two Nigerian priests who had emigrated to rural Inverness-shire. It was commissioned by BBC Scotland & premiered at Glasgow Film Festival 2020. I am in post with a BFI Net.work fiction film.
I have worked for numerous production companies as well as in house at BBC Horizon and also have edit experience. Read Less

Zoe is an excellent member of the Horizon team, a fantastic and thorough researcher with a keen journalistic edge.
Zoe has had one of her ideas commissioned (Horizon: Clean Eating - The Dirty Truth) presented by Dr. Giles Yeo and this film created many headlines - including the front cover of the Guardians 'G2' magazine. The film had high viewing figures and because of the subject matter attracted a wide and diverse audience.
Zoe works with challenging material in often challenging circumstances and never fails to deliver. Horizon often makes reputational films of record and I think Zoe understands this; she is never afraid to speak up if she thinks the facts of a story are being lost with over-enthusiastic producers (or in fact Series Editors!) and I trust her judgement 100%
