Mik is a Polish Cinematographer selected for the 2022 BAFTA Connect programme and now listed in the official BAFTA Connect directory. He has worked as a DP on over 30 international shoots, including filming in Canada, Costa Rica, South Africa, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, and all over Europe. He has travelled to and shot in the USA on over 20 occasions, visiting 40 states, including Hawaii.

Specialising in cinematic documentaries, his credits include Netflix feature 'Mark Cavendish: Never Enough’ (Nominated for Broadcast Sports Feature Documentary of the Year), the upcoming premium ITVX Documentary  'The Playboy Bunny Murders' fronted by Marcel Theroux, and an upcoming 3-part series for Sky titled ‘The Great Rhino Robbery’. His previous work features Investigation Discovery's highest rated show in over 2 years - 'Jared from Subway: Catching a Monster', visuals work on TNT's extremely well rated sports anthology series 'Rich & Shameless', as well as numerous other shows for companies such as Lightbox, Nutopia, Raw, Arrow Media, October Films, Minnow Films, Windfall, Double Act, Lion TV, BBC Studios and others.
 
Outside of docs, Mik has shot multiple short films that played at various festivals. Always looking to explore new ways of filmmaking, his latest project titled 'Something For Your Mind' features motion-capture scenes created and filmed using Unreal Engine 5.

With a heavy interest in the sport world, Mik has worked with multiple major sports personalities, such as the Champions League winning manager Jürgen Klopp, England legends Paul Gascoigne and Michael Owen, Netball star Jade Clarke, Commonwealth Games Gold Medal Boxer Lewis Williams, Rowing legend Steve Redgrave and the greatest sprinter of all time, Mark Cavendish. ​

Mik's no stranger to camera operating alongside other great DPs either. He operated A-cam on Sky History / Nutopia period drama doc series 'Royal Mob' - One of the highest rated Sky History commissions in recent years, nominated for the 2023 Broadcast award in the ‘Gamechanger Programme of the Year’ as well as ‘Best History Programme’ at the World Congress of Science & Factual Producers. He also operated B-cam on series 7 and celeb series 4 of Channel 4's ‘SAS: Who Dares Wins’ on location in Jordan, for which his team was nominated for an RTS award as 'Best Multicamera Production'.

Outside of filming, Mik likes to play miniature wargames, having won the 2018 European Team Championships as part of Team England in Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game.
