With a decade of experience in factual programming, and as a former history graduate, I’ve specialised in finding the best ways to bring the stories of the past, and the science of the present, to a modern audience, combining emotion, warmth, and wit, with the strictest accuracy.  I’m equally at home directing out in the field, whether talent, drama reconstruction, or dive shoots five hours off the coast of Ireland, and in the edit where I enjoy delving into diverse stories and figuring out how to use the rushes to maximum effect.  Away from TV I’m a musician, politics nerd, and petrolhead that spends far too much time watching anything written by Aaron Sorkin on a loop.

I have demonstrable expertise in:
·       Seeing shows through from initial conception to final delivery
·       Directing large crews including drones and large-scale drama reconstruction in the UK and abroad e.g. the US, China, Russia and Germany
·       Edit producing hour-long shows and entire series, including first series
