I am a former television news journalist turned writer/producer. Despite growing up with dreams of becoming a footballer, or a rock star, my dodgy left foot and a lack of rhythm lead to me working as a broadcast journalist instead –in fact if you’d been up really early in the late noughties you may have heard my voice on the ITV News, or giving you your sports news on both the BBC and numerous commercial radio stations. Sadly I wanted the freedom to be more creative (and in those days making things up was frowned upon in journalism), so I started writing and producing feature films.

And after moving into film production I produced my first feature, the portmanteau film “Everything I Ever Wanted To Tell My Daughter About Men” in 2019.  An amalgamation of 16 shorts, all directed by a different female director including Erin Richards, Saffron Burrows, Siena Guillory, Talia Balsam and Tara Fitzgerald.

My most recent film; “Apart From Her”, a Cypriot, Greek, UK co-production, was shot in Cyprus in late 2024.

Other recent credits include “Eternal Return” for BK Studios, as well as “Firebrand” which premiered at Cannes 2023, “Long Day’s Journey Into Night” & “Cottontail” which were all for Gaby Tana/Magnolia Mae Films.

The next film I am producing is “West The Road” which is set to shoot in Ireland in September 2025, and I am also the writer and producer of "Sam and the Angel" which is in development with Over the Fence Films.

In 2021, I was selected for the Bafta x BFI crew and have been a Bafta Connect member since 2022. Read Less
