I am an experienced Production Manager with 12 years of Production Management experience, and 23 years of experience working in the TV industry over a variety of genres, including factual, true crime, observational & music documentaries for a variety of broadcasters. I also have experience working in commercials. I am particularly passionate about factual documentaries & human interest stories, and have experience setting up shoots both large and small in the UK and abroad.

I'm a very hard working, hands-on PM and enjoy organising complex shoot logistics and managing a team. I love the challenge of delivering a great project within budget, am experienced with looking after both production and complex post production processes, compliance, health & safety, crewing up, scheduling, equipment hire, location finding, permissions, licensing, contracts and PASC paperwork.  The welfare of the team and contributors are very important to me and I like to make sure everyone is looked after.  I am proficient in using both PMI and Excel for cost management.

Other side projects I get involved with outside of broadcast TV include filming live music at gigs and festivals for different bands, and also filming and editing music promotional videos. I am able to bring my creative skills to many of my PM roles, often picking up a camera or editing a sequence when needed. Hobbies include playing bass guitar, herpetology and geneology research.
