A creative and innovative producer with 17 years’ experience; producing content for all major broadcasters (most recently Disney+, Netflix, Apple+) with experience in a diverse range of genres (specialism science and natural history). I have experience in all stages of the process, from pitching and winning commissions, to producing and delivering both brand new and established series. I am available to work in London, Bristol and Brighton.

My work has global reach; producing content on every continent, I have worked in both hostile and remote environments and forged strong relationships with those I work with (from eminent academics and field scientists, to A list talent and remote communities). The nature of my work has cultivated resilience, flexibility and the ability to both pre-empt and troubleshoot complex issues. My role requires the ability to communicate clearly and to work well under pressure. Experienced in priority planning, decision-making and risk management, I thrive under the multi-faceted nature of the producer role. I am experienced in producing logistically complicated shoots including: extreme altitudes, underwater, dangerous wild animals (lions and elephants) and night filming of wildlife in Africa.  I have worked with both new and established talent and negotiated sensitive access, including areas with human/wildlife conflict (crop raiding elephants, lion conflict with cattle/people in Kenya and Botswana) and poaching (saiga antelope on the Russian steppe).

My science background enables me to grasp complicated subject matters and transform them into something entertaining and palatable, whilst crafting untold stories and accentuating the emotional highs and lows of characters. I enjoy working with layered narratives and working out ways to streamline stories into cohesive and surprising content. My aim is to tell honest, authentic stories that grab people at their emotional heart. I am able to assimilate large quantities of information in a short space of time and am skilled at researching scientific papers; I have also published my own peer-reviewed journal article in Applied Animal Behaviour Science.

I enjoy the hands on creativity of being in the edit and have experience in solving 'tricky' episodes and managing multiple edits simultaneously.  As a series producer, I am skilled in building and managing stakeholder relationships and have experience running both small and large teams (large budget variance).
