I am a London-based self-shooting Producer/Director and Director of Photography specialising in human interest and social issue documentaries. 

Over the past decade I've made films for most UK broadcasters and Netflix, building a reputation for getting access to difficult stories and bringing a strong visual and editorial eye to everything I make. I'm drawn to social issue and human interest filmmaking, motivated generally by my own personal life experiences and driven to tell these stories with compassion, integrity and with a trauma informed approach. My work consistently engages with complex and sensitive themes such as trauma, justice, identity and resilience. 

I was selected for the BBC New Directors initiative and recently directed a single film for the BBC. My film, The Trials of Pa Salieu, follows musician Pa Salieu as he navigates his success alongside the weight of his past traumas. My credits also include Kids (RTS nominated for Best Photography), Taylor for Channel 4, Our Pandemic for BBC Two, Critical for Netflix, and multiple series of 24 Hours in Police Custody, among many others.
