I’m Nico, a multi-award-winning Director of Photography and certified drone pilot, known for crafting bold, cinematic visuals across documentary, interview-driven, and branded film work.Whether it’s an intimate one-to-one interview, a fast-paced branded shoot, or a sensitive documentary, I bring a calm, focused presence and a strong sense of story to every project.

I’ve filmed for major broadcasters, platforms and brands including Channel 5, Amazon Prime, Sky, BBC, Rolls Royce, McLaren and my work spans: 
- Cinematic Interviews: Creating beautifully lit, engaging interviews with contributors, presenters, and public figures.
- Documentaries: Handling sensitive topics and complex environments with empathy and clarity.
- Branded Films: Delivering slick, high-quality visuals for top-tier brands like Rolls Royce, Spotify, and Nissan. 

While this is the core of my work, I also have a background in live studio, outside broadcast, and multi-cam formats — giving me the adaptability to work across productions of all sizes. 

I own a full production-ready kit — including Canon C500 Mark II and C70 bodies, lenses, sound, grip, lighting, drones, and travel-ready accessories — and can scale up with trusted crew and kit hire when needed. Clients and collaborators often say they enjoy working with me because I’m fun to be around, polite, positive, and easy-going.

I’m known for always trying really hard and consistently delivering excellent results, whether it’s a lean one-person shoot or a larger-scale production. Outside of filming, I’m trained for demanding environments — from rope access and avalanche survival to water safety and drone operations. Whether I’m hanging off a cliff, flying a drone through urban skies, or simply framing the perfect close-up, I aim to capture the most powerful image in every moment.
