I have worked as a researcher and/or AP on over 20 TV productions, including observational documentaries, studio-based light entertainment and archive-rich historical narratives. In addition to my work for TV, I am the author of three books of non-fiction, including a comprehensive investigation of the cocaine business.I have lived and worked in Providence, Colombia, the US, Canada, Japan and Israel. I speak advanced Spanish, middling French and rusty Japanese.I have conducted in-depth, self-directed research into all manner of subjects. This work has given me a good working knowledge of library, picture library, footage and stills archive research. I also have good people finding skills, and plenty of experience of co-ordinating shoots and logistics.I have worked in lots of sensitive environments, including prisons, slums, mental hospitals, and drug rehabilitation centres.
