Prior to this, I was an integral part of Blakeway North’s Production Management team, overseeing series such as Bargain Loving Brits By The Sea, Caravanning with Shane Richie and Jason Manford’s Funniest Ever Adverts for Channel 5 as well as single documentaries such as Stacey Dooley’s Second Chance Sex Offenders, Can Sex Offenders Change? (BBC3), Panorama: Knives in the Classroom (BBC1) and The Death of Yousef Makki (C4). In addition to this, I’ve managed productions for online platforms such as Nikki Lilly Meets for CBBC and a series of short Teacher Wellbeing films for BBC Learning.I have always wanted to be a Production Manager, I enjoy forecasting and reporting costs to balance budgets and looking for ways to make editorial ambition achievable. I love having an overview of the production schedule, forward planning and exploring contingencies to ensure that productions run smoothly.I am approachable and resilient, I have experience of managing production teams and mentoring production coordinators or secretaries that are under performing, looking at ways to support them in their role and setting out clear expectations. Furthermore, I’m keen to develop my own skills and have taken the opportunity to be involved in extracurricular events such as the Talent Manager Networking Event and holding a ‘How To Get Into TV’ talk for students at Manchester University.I was thrilled to be selected as one of 2018 Broadcast Hot Shots during in my first year as a Production Manager. I’m based in Greater Manchester, can drive with my own car and also able to work from a home office.
