Producer-Director and Edit Producer with 15+ years' experience of delivering prime-time specialist factual. Recent directing includes episodes 1 and 3 of the latest BBC Two series ‘A House Through Time’, with episode 1 establishing the visual tone of the new run. I’ve also directed on BBC Two’s landmark RTS award-winning series ‘Union with David Olusoga’. 

I specialise in archive-led, authored storytelling, shaping visually ambitious, emotionally intelligent films from complex research and primary sources. 

A hands-on and editorially rigorous filmmaker, I’m confident leading crews and presenters on location, handling sensitive and complex subject matter, and structuring narrative with clarity and authority in the edit. Alongside directing, I work regularly as an Edit Producer on archive- and access-led films.

I’ve worked extensively with Channel 4, US networks and major streamers in senior production and development roles. 

With an MA in History and a background in visual communications, I combine historical depth with a strong visual sensibility. I’m experienced in long-form research, access negotiation and investigative development.
