I have many years’ experience in narrative-driven documentaries, including BAFTA and Grierson nominated films. I work on ideas from development/pre-production, pulling compelling single narratives out of complex political & cultural moments and establishing the access needed to bring each story to life. I have secured and interviewed challenging contributors, sought out long-forgotten archive, and woven them together in the edit to create fresh perspectives on prominent themes. As an SP, I have managed multiple edits, overseen onlines & final post, and I’m experienced in legal/compliance issues.
