Originally a volcanologist, my TV career began at BBC Horizon, before moving into nature, history and docs for a range of channels and streamers.  As a PD, I’ve made films about life and death in far-flung corners of the Earth.  Taking these through the edit, I’ve learned how to apply dramatic storytelling techniques to real-life narratives, and create the arcs that drive a film, and sustain a series.  Lately I’ve worked on a range of high-profile, character-led projects - running the lead edits, and playing a key role in establishing structure, style, and tone for each series.
