I’m a New Zealand and British Series Director creating cinematic, character-driven documentary films for global audiences. After building my career in the UK, I’m now based in Auckland, New Zealand, working across New Zealand productions, international co-productions and premium factual series worldwide.

My work spans BAFTA-winning observational documentaries through to high-profile talent-led and international access series for Netflix, Apple TV+, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, the BBC, Channel 4 and TVNZ. I specialise in stories built around extraordinary access, complex human experiences and emotionally intelligent storytelling, helping shape editorial direction, tone and visual style from development through to delivery.

Beginning my career in the edit before moving behind the camera has given me a strong instinct for narrative, allowing me to shoot with the finished film in mind while leading teams through every stage of production. Whether filming with world-famous talent or families opening their front door to a camera crew, I believe the strongest documentaries are built on trust. Creating an environment where contributors feel safe, respected and genuinely heard allows stories to unfold naturally, producing films that feel authentic, cinematic and emotionally resonant.

Alongside New Zealand productions, I continue to work closely with broadcasters, streamers and production companies throughout the UK and internationally. As a dual New Zealand and British citizen, I travel regularly across Europe and the Asia-Pacific region and am always interested in ambitious documentary projects and international co-productions.
