Malcolm is an award winning Director of Photography and Camera Operator who has built a strong reputation for filming quality features, documentaries, commercials, TV promos and idents. Other works includes, Still The Enemy Within, which won the Audience Award at the Sheffield Documentary Festival and two Oscar Nominated animated features directed by Tim Burton, Corpse Bride and Frankenweenie Malcolm works in commercials for London’s most creative and respected production companies and broadcasters including Academy Films, Sky Creative, UKTV, Nexus, Blink, RSA, Partizan, Gorgeous, Th1ng and Red Bee & ITV Creative.Malcolm's experience is defined by his versatility. He is equally at ease shooting as a single operator with well honed skills acquiring key components or running a larger unit with the necessary planning, delegation and communication that that demands. Having worked across many genres, he is well placed to offer advice and assurance on techniques and equipment including the use and benefits of various camera types, lenses, jibs, Stedicam, dollies & sliders and many other technical aspects of acquisition.
