I am a multi-skilled and versatile Director of Photography / Lighting Cameraman / Camera Operator/Tech with over 16 years professional experience, mostly specialising in promos (music/fashion/PR/charity/events), branded content, factual/fact-ent TV, short and feature documentaries, online ads, VTs, interviews, junkets, red carpets, live multi-cam broadcast, television news, and music videos.

I'm highly experienced, and comfortable working in roles ranging from single-crewed “Self-Shooter” through to DoP or even Director leading a team. I'm also an experienced Editor and have solid experience working in a Production Coordinator and Camera Supervisor capacity - I’m no stranger to budgeting, planning, and leading shoots, organising crew, shoot logistics, and many aspects of post-production.

I'm skilled and experienced with a range of camera equipment from all major brands (Sony specialist, and very experienced with ARRI and Blackmagic cameras), and associated equipment.

Also well versed with 4K and RAW workflows, web and broadcast standards, livestreaming technologies (including YouTube Live and Facebook Live), LiveU and Aviwest operation, and prep/legalising for broadcast compliant commercials I’m a bit of a video production tech geek, and a go-to for tech support and solution finding amongst many of my clients and peers.

I'm very comfortable and experienced working with, and interviewing not only high profile celebrities and presenters, but also inexperienced talent and contributors.

A seasoned traveller, I have shot on location in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Canada, Russia, Iraq, Iceland, Norway, USA, Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, Holland, Austria, Ukraine, Turkey, and Switzerland.

I have both a UK and an Irish (EU) passport.

I'm based in Cardiff but also have a permanent base in London (Zone 2), and additional temporary accommodation options in Brighton, İstanbul (Turkey), and İzmir (Turkey) I am open to working in all those areas and more!
