I have a wide experience in many different roles within the Broadcast industry, but I try to focus on Media Management as I am the most confident in dealing with data workflows and being the intermediary between Editing and Production. Taking great pride in DIT and Media Management I work towards making sure the transition from set to edit is as fluid as possible, whether abroad or in the UK.Skills include: Transcoding, Syncing rushes, technical checking (Colour/LUT) and QC, Secure Transfer and verify, Post-Production paperwork, Logging.Due to my adaptability, once my media management role has finished, I have been generally kept on in other areas of production (clearances, Music cue sheets, compliance) to complete the show.I'm comfortable with using PC, MAC and Linux and have a working knowledge of bash scripting. I have my own high spec laptop for transcodes and delivery with offload and edit softwareI'm also well known for the terrifying speeds I can type (which really does help) and often I do transcription through quiet periods in work.
