I am a creative, dynamic & versatile Producer/ Director and Edit Producer. I enjoy tackling challenging topics, and specialise in specialist factual documentaries. As a qualified and experienced broadcast journalist, I am tenacious, adaptable, inquisitive and I have a great eye for a story. For the past 4 years, I have been developing and shaping a raft of science and history series' for US broadcast clients, and Netflix. Whilst working in the Development team at Pioneer Productions, specialising in their science slate, we got a commission from Ch4 and National Geographic Channel for projects I have worked closely on. With over 10 years experience in the industry, I have worked for both US and UK terrestrial channels, including National Geographic, Discovery and Channel 4. I particularly enjoy weather, geology and space programmes - but most of all I revel in making tough subjects digestible. I have an excellent track record in finding on-screen talent, and recently broke new talent for a new client for our company. As well as Story Producing and directing on Observational documentaries, I also have excellent experience in fast-turnaround and current affairs programmes, I have set up shoots and directed in difficult and dangerous conditions, for example, in the immediate aftermath of the Joplin tornado, and in New York following Hurricane Sandy.
