This role required clear and concise communication skills to ensure that each case was documented accurately and that our customer had a clear understanding of what had occurred, what would happen to resolve the situation and what (if anything) they were required to do.Training, Coaching and Projects: Due to my knowledge of different areas and processes within banking, I was hand-picked to carry out a role in the Learning and Development team. This role shaped me more as a person due to the variation and responsibilities expected of me. It was while in this position that I developed my interpersonal skills by interacting with a wide range of different people and stakeholders. Primarily the role was to train and up-skill new employees with the call structures and processes in place. Additionally, I was responsible for the administrative side of the department which included processing staff details onto the database, collating data such as work load figures and MI. I would analyse staff errors and identify any further training needs. I also attended senior level meetings to review proposed adjustments to processes and procedures and any amendments to these would then be incorporated into our staff training books.While working in the Learning and Development team I was selected to assist on a number of integration projects. Two of the four projects were sensitive in nature and needed a high level of discretion. My duties were to liaise with different departments to ensure the smooth running of each department while setting up training sessions. I was required to book meeting and training rooms in advance as well as booking hotels for a number of non residential stakeholders.Administrative support - authorising building and system access, booking meeting rooms, travel and accommodation, replenishing stock, creating training books and compiling reports, reconciling accounts.
