I’m a self-shooting PD with a range of experience in observational documentaries, series and current affairs. Recent credits include working as a Shooting PD on BBC 1's 'Ambulance', on Channel 4's 'Night Coppers' (S2) and C4's 'Emergency'. I was the Shooting Producer on the Bafta-winnning 'Ellie Simmonds: Finding My Secret Family'. In June 2023 I won the Channel 4 First Cut pitch to direct my first one-hour single for broadcast which is now green-lit and in production.

Along with broadcast experience I have made independent/festival docs - in 2020 I released my first feature 'Faith and Branko', which is a character-driven obs doc following the complicated cross-cultural marriage between two musicians. It premiered at Sheffield Doc Fest 2020 and Hot Docs Canada 2021, it was also selected for Dok Leipzig's Audience Award category and won the best documentary award at SEE Fest LA. In 2022 I edit produced a 58-min version for Al Jazeera and the VOD platforms Filmin and Guide Doc. I have an MA in Documentary Directing from NFTS - in 2017 my grad film 'Professional Foreigner' premiered at Sheffield Doc Fest.

I'm a resourceful, perceptive and narrative-driven person with a genuine interest in other people and their stories. I have worked with sensitive subject matter and vulnerable contributors and I'm good with access and building trust. I have also worked as an editor so I can shoot for the edit and edit produce.
