Hello!To give you a bit of background:I am an experienced, TV professional with a solid background in format entertainment, mainly on quiz and gameshows.A considerable amount of my working knowledge is in the edit and as such I am used to running edits under tight deadlines and under a fast turnaround environment so I fully understand the need to turn out great shows on time and with the minimum of fuss. Not only have I worked on a lot of very well-known shows I've got great experience with new formats helping turn them into enjoyable and watchable programmes. As well as a good editorial eye I'm completely at ease with the technical aspects of an edit.As well as providing the necessary creative and editorial input working as an edit producer, I have also managed small teams of edit producers and co-ordinated their efforts too. I am experienced in the online and dub as well as providing editorial input for music and graphics packages for the various shows I have worked on.As an added extra, I have a very good contact list of top-end editors so would be able to recommend if needed.As well as working for UK broadcasters and production companies I have worked extensively at Discovery, tailoring reversions to suit other feeds worldwide so re-scripting entire series and directing voice over sessions was very much part of the job; naturally, due to tx requirements, it was a fast paced environment.
