I am an experienced Director / Producer specialising in big budget productions across Adventure, Science and Natural History genres. After studying Zoology at Leeds University, I started out working at the Royal Geographical Society in London where I helped plan remote expeditions all over the world. From there I was asked to run field logistics for a Disneynature film about Chimpanzees and after 14 years in the business, I now find myself directing the latest feature of the same strand. As my CV reflects, I have worked produced a range of top end specialist factual content, and my strengths lie in setting up and directing shoots in challenging locations, while managing dynamic risk assessments on the ground. I have wilderness medical training, off road driving qualifications, and speak fluent French. I was fortunate enough to have been involved in 'Our Planet', a global eight-part series for Netflix. This was undoubtedly a career highlight for me, and I learnt a huge amount from some of the best in the business, particularly in relation to good story-telling.
