Freelance filmmaker and editor with extensive independent international travel experience, now looking to move into factual television with a particular focus on international field recce, route research and location scouting.

My professional background is in filming and editing for over 15 years. Alongside this, I have travelled extensively and independently, planning journeys, navigating unfamiliar places, adapting when plans change and working things out on the ground.

I'm particularly interested in the practical side of factual production, researching and testing routes, assessing locations, working out logistics and understanding what is realistically achievable on the ground. My filmmaking background gives me an additional understanding of locations, storytelling and what makes something work visually.
