With a strong background in education, but also theatre, I had followed my heart to keep on working in show business, despite raising a family. I still work in education for a stable income in this ever changing world, but also because show business has been on hiatus for years due to pandemic and strikes. However, I also have my own production company with a talent agency attached and I've been running this for the past 13 years. Although my talent agency at Avanti Productions & Management Ltd is a success, attracting international award winning actor, I would love to see if there are ways to further expand my experience in the production world. My company is set up to mirror a mini-studio system, which was rather innovative for UK at the time.
In the past I was a 1st Assistant Director to the legendary theatre director Vlad Mugur, but also a theatre director for a first show in London, which later I took to Edinburgh Fringe. Things have developed in the screen world, where my company was an Associate Production company to a new indie feature, where I've worked as Producer, Production Manager, Casting Director, and Line Producer. Later on I have further cast a few other smaller projects in London, but haven't managed to go back to producing due to other priorities. Read Less
