I have joined The Talent Manager to express my enthusiasm for entering the production world on a full-time or freelance basis. As an entry-level individual in the world of production, I have begun taking opportunities to help further my experience and passion for the work required. Over the summer, I have built hands-on experience across three London shoots as a Runner/Production Assistant and, most recently, Head Production Assistant. My experience so far has confirmed what I already suspected, that the fast pace, problem-solving, and teamwork environment of a live set is where I do my best work. Thus far, producers and directors have trusted me with more and more responsibility, hence why I have progressed from runner to Head Production Assistant, and I take real pride in being the person who has kept a shoot day running smoothly behind the scenes. 

My drive in a career change is rooted in a genuine passion for the industry. My background in Musical Theatre gave me a first-hand understanding of what performers and crews need to do their best work, and it's part of why I approach every shoot with both empathy for talent and respect for the schedule. Alongside this, I have spent several years supervising fast-paced hospitality and retail teams that have sharpened my organisation skills, communication, and ability to stay calm when plans change at the last minute, which I believe are all directly transferable to the production industry. I want to welcome the opportunity to bring this combination of experience, adaptability, and genuine enthusiasm to your next project, whether as an ongoing team member or on a freelance basis.

Though I am currently working freelance as a Production Assistant, my sights are set on progressing to working as a First Assistant Director. To get there, I'm proactively pursuing every opportunity to build relevant experience by taking on roles that put me closer to the director department, and reaching out directly to industry professionals who can help me develop the skills and exposure I need for that next step.
