Combining cinematic storytelling with conservation awareness, Kaushik has worked in challenging field conditions, including mangrove forests, river systems, Himalayan landscapes, and fragile wetland ecosystems. He directed the acclaimed documentary 'Fishing Cat: The Pride of Bengal,' one of the first films dedicated to the endangered Fishing Cat and wetland conservation. Kaushik also worked as a cinematographer for 'The Dooars World,' featured by Warner Bros. Discovery and Discovery India. Through conservation outreach initiatives, he has organised screenings, educational programs, and youth engagement sessions to promote biodiversity protection and climate resilience.
