’'Teenage Cics', a six part tv series she co-wrote and directed still airs frequently on TG4 while her short film 'Clare Sa Speir', taught in Irish schools, is embedded in the Irish psyche! Her latest ‘Actor’s as Creator’ short ‘Coasteering’ recently won the ‘Best Director ’ at the 2023 Feedback Female FilmFestival.
The 2008 economic crash and a house fire inadvertently led to Audrey living in Paris for over a decade. There, she was frequently commissioned by prestigious production companies as a writer and projects she has written include ‘Lockerbie’ a feature film about the 1988 air disaster for acclaimed director Jim Sheridan, and ‘Vivaldi’, for Oscar/Palm D’Or winning Bille August and Pandora Films. Her tv series, ‘Unaccompanied Minor’ was optioned by NBC Universal and in 2019 she took part in the UGC Writers Campus at Series Mania, having been chosen as one of twenty ‘writers to watch.
When the pandemic hit in 2020, Audrey returned to Ireland when RTE accepted her as one of just four candidates on their multicam director course for their popular soap Fair City.. Since then, she has directed many episodes of Fair City and has quickly gone on to direct Eastenders, Emmerdale and Coronation Street. Most recently, she has directed episodes of a new children’s tv show ‘Do Not Watch Alone for RTE.
Audrey, who is fluent in French and Italian, returns to France every summer, where her continued engagement with climate activism and refugee groups infuses her sensibility with humor and humanity. She is represented by Casarotto Ramsey and Associates.
