Film and English BA graduate (2:1) especially interested in independent cinema. I have experience in journalism, marketing, and event coordination, and I’m pursuing a career in film programming. I’ve led teams, managed social media platforms and websites (WordPress), and produced written and visual content through internships and freelance projects.

I’ve volunteered at film festivals including Encounters and FilmBath, where I wrote film notes, assisted audiences, and supported Q&A sessions. I also co-organised the University of Bristol’s first student film festival, contributing to marketing, logistics, and audience engagement as part of a team. I’m particularly interested in creating more space for underrepresented voices in film, and increasing audiences for independent cinema. Read Less
