I'm a versatile, self-shooting (C300/ FS5/ FS7/ FX6) Producer/Director with 12 years' experience making prime time documentaries. My strengths lie in securing sensitive access and building and maintaining trusting relationships with often vulnerable contributors (including children). I am adept at identifying the best contributors and getting the best out of them. Involved from commission through to delivery I’ve directed and taken through the edit multiple prime time single docs (BBC1/ BBC3/ Channel 4) including the Grierson shortlisted feature length doc, Child of Mine (C4). For this I was nominated for the Debut Director award at the Edinburgh TV Festival’s New Voice awards (2019).As well as making making intimate, character led singles, I’m equally experienced working closely with presenters including Stacey Dooley (BBC1/ BBC3).
