I have recently graduated from the University of Glasgow with a First Class with Honours degree in Film and Television. I am currently looking entry-level production opportunities within the Film and Television Industry.

My primary passion has always been television, which is evident through all of the different sections of my profile. I was an active part of Glasgow University Student Television (GUST) for all four years of my studies, which have included being elected as the Head of Factual Programming and as the Broadcast and Publicity Co-ordinator. Roles which I have had experience in include Floor Management, VT, Camera Operation, Lighting, Sound and Editing on Adobe PremierPro. I have also completed several out-of-studio productions, such as the official 2024 Freshers Guide, which was uploaded not just to the GUST website, but also screened at the official University's Welcome Address. Additionally, I co-created a video titled 'Locations – Film & TV in Glasgow', which as the name suggests, is a tour around my hometown showing all the different movies and television shows that have been filmed here. This was nominated for a National Student Television Award and ended up placing 4/15.

In my final year of studies I also completed a dissertation, which focused on how streaming platforms are upending the conventionalities of network television. This of course was done alongside other courses, as well as balancing my non-University responsibilities and interests. This verifies my ability to take on multiple tasks at one time whilst still being able to produce high-quality work.

In 2025, I started my own YouTube channel to express my passion for film and television. I am consistently posting content to grow the channel with my top video reaching 20,000 views, and have also expanded onto TikTok to expand my audience reach. Through reviewing a range of content, I have been able to develop my digital mindset alongside a range transferable skills including organisation, confidence, presentation and software knowledge (e.g. DaVinci Resolve).

Other work experience has supplied me with a range of skills that will prove useful. This includes my time as a class teacher which required communicating with children (including those with a range of additional needs), my time as a company manager which involved working in an unpredictable, fast-paced environment that changed every day, and my time as as scout leader where I was responsible for creating weekly programmes & activities and maintaining paperwork and financial records, following up where necessary.
