My name's Yanmife Oyekan. I’m a Media Production student at the University of Sunderland with a strong interest in television, film and digital production. I enjoy working behind the camera and getting involved in the different stages of production, from filming and sound to editing and post-production.
I’ve gained experience across a range of productions, including working with BBC on a placement, where I worked within Technical Operations and gained hands-on experience with camera works, post-production, and broadcast workflows. I’ve also worked on short films with It's my shout and productions with Rondo Media and have experience in camera operation, production support and creating content for different platforms.
I’m particularly interested in camera, editing, technical operations and production roles, and I’m always keen to learn new skills and work with different teams. I’m a hardworking and adaptable person who enjoys being part of a production and helping bring ideas from planning through to the final product. I’m looking to build on my experience and take on more opportunities within the TV, film and broadcast industry.
