Hello, I help organisations navigate sustainability from their strategy and compliance commitments and then embed this into the business and culture. I have experience in measurement and reporting, carbon reduction, circular production innovation, and sustainable strategies. In the past year I have created sustainability roadmaps for Film, TV, and sports production partners. My background includes eight years in corporate and operational sustainability and over twenty years in high-profile sports sponsorship, communications and events. During my time in sports marketing and communications, I worked with Imagination on Shell’s global corporate and sports events programme for six years. My experience also spans the Beijing 2008 and London 2012 Olympics, Wimbledon, the ATP, as well as two FIFA World Cups.My corporate sustainability focuses on supporting UK PLCs like Howdens and DFS to make sustainability visible within their operations. I helped design and launch the ‘Sofa Cycle’ to communicate circular ambition through one simple idea, allowing the entire business to understand their impact from design to end-of-life. I developed and delivered circular economy initiatives like DFS's Sofa Rescue recycling scheme and piloted the growing Grand Designs partnership. For Howdens, I focused on decarbonising their operations and supply chain. We implemented a strategic timber sourcing initiative by partnering with Egger and their Timberpak program, with over 90% recycled UK timber for kitchen cabinets and ensuring 100% FSC or PEFC certified chipboard and MDF for manufacturing.To increase my TV and film experience I have recently completed ALBERT Academy training for: Sustainability Workshop: Sports Production and the Climate Onscreen Workshop.
