Throughout my degree, I developed practical skills across camera operation, cinematography, sound recording, editing, post-production, and visual storytelling, learning how to create engaging factual content that connects audiences with the natural world.
My studies were shaped by industry professionals from organisations including the BBC and National Geographic, providing valuable insight into professional production workflows and the standards expected within the wildlife film industry. This experience strengthened both my technical ability and my understanding of how compelling storytelling can educate, inspire and encourage conservation.
Alongside my academic training, I have a background in animal management and several years of voluntary experience working with wildlife, giving me confidence around a wide variety of species and an appreciation for working in challenging outdoor environments. This combination of filmmaking and wildlife experience has given me a solid foundation for a career in natural history production.
I am now looking to begin my career within Natural History Filmmaking, seeking opportunities as a camera operator, where I can continue learning from experienced crews while contributing enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuine passion for wildlife storytelling.
