I am a former News Producer seeking opportunities as a Researcher in factual television. I bring extensive journalistic experience across broadcast, print and digital media, with particular strengths in story development, editorial research, contributor liaison and access. I develop sensitive access and build trusted relationships with contributors to uncover and tell compelling stories.

Alongside my journalism experience, I have a particular interest and specialist knowledge in natural history and environmental storytelling. I managed Ruth2Reef, an environmental column focused on animal behaviour in the region, alongside covering and promoting local environmental initiatives. I have also worked as a turtle carer, developing specialist knowledge of turtle behaviour, conservation and rehabilitation.

I am experienced in fast-paced environments and delivering to tight deadlines, with a strong track record in live news coverage and journalism. I am particularly interested in specialist factual and natural history programming, especially wildlife and conservation, while remaining open to a broad range of genres across the factual sector.
