 Jessie Oram is an aspiring actor studying for a diploma in stage and screen at South Seas Film School. Her love of performing began at school, playing roles such as the Cheshire Cat in Alice and Wonderland, and the Cat in the Hat in Seussical the Musical. She received a service award for drama at the Rutherford College arts and cultural awards in 2022. Jessie was also honored to be given the Litsa Shaw Memorial Award for contribution to school productions at her end-of-year prize giving. Leaving school, she gained the role of Eugene in Grease for the Auckland Performing Arts Academy. She then moved to Christchurch and completed a certificate in performing arts at the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Arts (NASDA). Jessie has a passion for singing and dancing, and she likes to write poems and song lyrics.
