I'm a motivated individual with a strong passion for continual learning and personal growth. During my journalism journey so far, I have brief experience writing for the Blackpool Gazette detailing my experiences as a student during the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Since 2021, I've built strong foundations in the world of women's football via voluntary work. I have written and published over 100 pieces for HerFootballHub which include: player interviews, match reports, transfer news, alongside many other stories. Part of this voluntary work has included attending matches in the press box to cover live on the action, while other work has required my to attend in-person and online press conferences and mixed zones to gain reaction from players and managers. 

During my postgraduate Sports Journalism degree, I acquired several skills which have aided my growth as a journalist. I am now capable of working at 100 words per minute in teeline shorthand, while also having a conversational ability in both German and Spanish. My degree taught me several other technical skills such as proficieny on Adobe Premiere and a beginner level on Adobe Audition. 

More recently, I have started freelancing with Manchester United covering their women's team. So far this has included attending matches and writing up match reports, previews, and post-match reactions. 

I also have experience live blogging sports other than football. I attending the British Track Cycling Champions and completed a 5-hour live blog of the day's events. While I have also covered rugby union, netball, tennis, and athletics in my other work.  Read Less
