I graduated from Central Film School with a first-class degree in Screenwriting last year, though I've been writing stories since I was nine (and naively believed I could break a fictional world record of becoming the youngest published author by age ten). I spent my teenage years writing screenplays and studying TV shows, enraptured by the joy of creating worlds I could escape into and characters I would obsess over. After finishing school, I wrote my first novel and ventured into the freelance writing world, penning works for blogs, websites, and newsletters before landing a job as a policy content manager. The lure of the fictional world continued to call though, and when the pandemic reminded me life was short, I decided to pursue my real dream by enrolling and completing my screenwriting degree in London (2022-2024). Since then, I've continued to support myself by freelancing as a copywriter and editor while writing screenplays, novels, and short stories on the side, mainly for myself – though I hope, one day, for others too.
